Global Software firm is seeking a Big Data Developer to create large-scale analytics solutions; this includes designing the associated high-performance database structure, data transformations, and workflow processes. The firm creates data analytics systems with a focus on rapid availability, easy data accessibility, and outstanding query performance.
The Developers will be required to:
-Design and implement parallel processing systems that operate on multiple terabytes of data
-Build, tune and manage cloud-based applications
-Create technology solutions which have critical business impact
Core Competencies
Education & Experience
-BS in CS/EE or a related quantitative field. MS/PhD is a plus
-C++ or Java w/ Scala
-database experience
-Kafka/MQ, Spark Streaming, Cassandra/Mongo DB, NoSQL experience are all a plus
-understanding of parallel and distributed systems
-willingness to learn new programming languages
-strong analytical, quantitative and deductive reasoning skills
